A Welcomed 30 Minute Nap

As most of you know, Jace fights sleep unless he is comfortable in his own bed by himself and in a quiet dim room. We were curious to see how he would do on the long flight to Utah. Well, he did quite well if we continued feeding him banana puffs, replaying Baby Einstein, and letting him drink as much water as he wanted from his sippy cup. About 1/3 the way there we could tell he was sooo tired. He would often tease us and lay his head down on my shoulder for about 30 seconds then get a new burst of energy that would last another 10 minutes. That cycle continued at least 7 more times. Finally about 30 minutes before we landed (lets see that is the entire 3 hour flight plus an hour we sat on the plane before taking off and the hour he spent excited saying Hi to everyone in his stroller in the airport that he was awake)he layed his head down and was literally out in 20 seconds. He probably didnt mean to give up but his body had another plan. It only lasted about 30 minutes but that 30 minutes was lovely. I love holding a sleeping baby Jace. So does JJ. Notice his long hair in back and his cute hands.
