Trip to Utah: The First Few Days

J and I are not able to go home for the holidays this year so we decided to take a trip around Halloween instead. We left Thursday, October 23rd taking a flight that included a layover, something we have never done with Jace before. But last minute decisions make for not so perfect flight accommodations. Jace did Awesome the entire trip, in fact he was so sweet the entire trip. Usually he struggles with new people but he had such a great time with everyone in our family.
Friday we went over to J's sister Brynn's to see her and her hubby's new house. Jace loved their big puppy Norman (from the window that is). He also loved smelling their pretty flowers.
We stayed at my Dad's house. Both my dad and step mom Anne were very gracious to us the entire time. Thank you so much to them! A huge highlight of the trip for Jace was their cats, Scooter and Lily. Here he is searching for them under the bed with my dad, Grandpa Lowe. (As a side note, every man Jace sees he calls Grandpa Lowe including the TMobile advertisement last night). The rest of Friday was spent visiting J's other sister Lindsay and her new baby Nixon.
Saturday, we went to the Hogle Zoo for the Halloween Zoo Boo. We didn't dress up but had such a fun time with all the cousins. Here are some pictures of Nana Chris and Jace.
Family Pictures at the Hogle Zoo.
He loves the Merry-go-Round.
Cute cousin Mitchell. He was just a little baby at our wedding.
Sweet little Belle, another cousin, took such good care of Jace the entire trip. He let her which shocked me!!!
He even let her pick him up and loved that too.
One of the newest cutest cousins, Madaline.

More to Come...

How fun to spend time with family up in Utah! I hope Jace stayed healthy this time. I had to laugh about Jace calling other men grandpa. Rachel went through the same phase. Richard Gere and Sean Connery were two she called papa. I guess it was the white hair... :)
