The Markwalter Family in our ward hosts a Christmas Party every year where Santa comes to visit. I love it because Jace gets to see Santa without waiting a long lines at the mall (even though I have a small desire to do it next year because I love crowds and especially Christmas crowds). This year Jace was excited to see Santa because we had been talking about him, reading books about him, and seeing all the blowup Santa's in our neighborhood. He wanted to ask Santa for a "Train" and thought all was well until he walked in the door and saw him sitting there. He kept saying he wanted to leave and was very apprehensive about the whole thing. Thank goodness Santa gives high fives, that helped ease the situation a bit. Jace still didn't want to sit on his lap though so just like last year, I got to be in the picture too.
After 10 seconds, Jace was finished with the man in the red suit. He had his bag of goodies Santa gave him and he was ready to be done with it all.

That's a pretty good Santa! We just got back in town and got your card in the mail and my little sister Hope said you have the most beautiful hair :-).
what a cute santa! that's ok Jace, maybe next year's picture will be different. (at least you have one, we don't have any of Lucy with Santa, am I a bad mom? :) )
