Strawberry Picking

Last week we went strawberry picking with some friends from our church. That morning I had put on a show for Jace while I quickly got everything together and it just so happened to be an episode where the characters were going strawberry picking. It was so fitting. This girl holding Jace's hand loves to help me take care of Jace. She has 3 younger siblings and is such a good helper. Jace loves her and will do pretty much anything she suggests doing. If she wants to hold his hand, he almost always lets her.

Jace on a mission to find strawberries. I loved watching him hold his own bucket.
He loved picking everything. When we got home J asked why they were all kind of smashed. I told him Jace picked them. He would squeeze them so hard trying to get them off the vine. He loved the pink one's even though I told him that we only pick really red ones.
Jace and our cute friend Natalie.
Taking it all in!
He would stop and look in his bucket all the time to see how many he had. He kept telling me, "Lots of em".
All the kids holding their own buckets in front of the fields.
We took a picture by the tractor too because all the kids were obsessed with it.
After we picked and bought our strawberries, we had a picnic at a little sitting area just outside the farm. The kids played on the playground, climbed trees, ate fresh strawberries and wore themselves out. While we mom's got to talk and relax a bit.
