~DISNEYLAND 2009~ LOTS OF PICTURES

Last Sunday on June 21st, we flew to California for a huge family vacation with my Dad's side of the family. I haven't seen my sister who lives in Arizona since Jace was 2 months old and we were so excited. Jace was great on the flight and quickly fell asleep in our rental car on the way to the hotel. Sunday we spend the day relaxing with everyone and we all ate dinner together at Grandma and Grandpa Lowe's hotel room.

Monday we got up early and had plans to take a new family picture. Our last one was taken years ago, so we were all excited. We also got Family pictures of our little family taken and a few of Jace alone. We haven't gotten them yet though. They all turned out great. Here are a few we took while at the location.

After pictures we went to eat at In 'n Out Burger. It was my first time there and I wasn't disappointed. It was delicious. That night we went to an Angels Game. We were a little worried about how Jace would do since we've never been to one with him, and he was awesome. He didn't complain once.

Cute one of Annie and Kyle.
Here is my Dad, Anne, Lara and Griffin
Jace watching the game with my sister Beckie
Annie and Hannah (Beckie's oldest)
My brother's wife Beka and son Isaac
Beckie's baby Sadie. She loves her mama and daddy. Such the little tiny one. I love petite. Jace loves his cousins this trip. Especially Isaac. He always made Jace laugh so hard and was very entertaining at the baseball game.
This game had the best WAVE I have ever seen. It went around and around the stadium forever. Jace loved it and kept waiting for it to come back around.
Tuesday morning we got up and went straight to Disneyland. Here is Jace waiting in line for his first ride, the Rockets. He loved it.

It was really hot that day and the lines we pretty long. We still had a lot of fun.
Jace also loved the Buzz Lightyear rides. He was so interested in all that was happening.
We made the mistake of taking him on the Matterhorn. He liked the ride but wasn't a fan of the "monster" that jumped out in the middle of the ride. Slightly traumatizing for a while. He is still talking about it and showing us what happened.
Waiting in more lines with the family.

Loved the carousel.
Oh Dumbo. The line was horrendously long and the ride was a bit slow for our liking. We had to do it though.
Jace LOVED the parade. He danced the entire parade. We were laughing so hard. The performers thought he was so cute and pulled in out from the crowd three different times.

He wasn't really interested in dancing with them, instead he would walk straight over to the floats to see the disney characters and they'd have to go get him and bring him back.

That first day at Disneyland was long for Jace. He was exhausted and emotional by about 5 o'clock and just wanted to be held. He finally fell asleep on his storller ride over to California Adventure.

Then we was great the rest the evening. Who wouldn't be with a mickey mouse sucker to enjoy.
Wednesday we went to the beach with the family. Jace of course loved it. He ran and ran and played for hours.

Anne and Beckie

We buried Isaac in the sand by request

Cute Seth, my brother's youngest.
My brother-in-law Caleb and little Sadie.
My dad searched and searched for the sand crabs we used to find as kids. He finally found a ton of them.
And Jace kept picking them up out of the bucket and freeing them back into the sand. I was surprised he wanted to hold them like it was nothing at all.
Lunch time on the beach.

More playing with Grandpa in the sand.

The Beach was exhausting.
Wednesday night we had a birthday party for little Seth. He turned 5. Here is Kyle holding Sadie while she slept. She mostly likes to sleep with her mom or dad, but Kyle got lucky.
Decorations and fun games and presents. He was a fun night.

Lara got a turn with Sadie too, but Sadie thought it was her mom holding her.
The boys playing the chess game Seth got.
Isaac could really make Jace laugh so hard. I loved it.
Thursday was back to Disneyland. We loved It's A Small World ride.
We saw a lot of characters this day and Jace LOVED them. He had no fear of them like I thought he would.
He still talks about how Goofy tickled him.
Jace's first roller coaster ride, it was a mini one in Toon Town. Here he is before the ride not knowing what to expect after we through the Matterhorn at him. He loved it.
He loved Mickey's house.

We had to stop at every car he saw, so he could get in.

Popcorn and a churro, who wouldn't be happy. I think I love churro's more than anything.
Hugging Winnie the Pooh

Who is this guy? I love his face.
You already saw the video of Tigger on my last post, but the pictures are so cute too.
Such a cute Mr. Potato Head that talks to you while standing in a long line for another Toy Story Ride. Jace was so fascinated by him.

After another long day of rides, treats, and toys, J took Jace home around 7:30 and I stayed to ride more rides with Andrea and my other family who we met up with later. We rode Tower of Terror at around 9pm and it was AWEsome. From there we ran from ride to ride trying to get on anything we could. My sister Lara and I even ran to ride the teacups at midnight because we hadn't yet this trip and no one else wanted to. I kept on riding and not getting off because the guy running the ride didn't care since no one else was in line. I need to get those pictures from her. We all had so much fun this trip. Thanks Dad and Anne for putting this all together.

Friday we flew home and I miss everyone so much already.
