As we all know, Jace has a serious obsession with most cars. His current specific obsession is fire trucks. This has been going on for a few months now. Back in August, J found the cutest Fireman costume for Halloween. I was so excited and so was Jace. He would bring it out to our random guests to show them. I put it in the back closet for safe keeping a decided to put it on him a couple weeks ago to make sure it fit right. Well, it didn't. It was HUGE....and really heavy. I thought about altering it, but quickly decided it was out of my realm of sewing abilities to do so. I then turned to Jace and asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween. That day, we had been to a store and had taken a stroll down the Halloween isle. With great hesitation he was drawn to the skeletons and witches over and over again. He was terrified but deeply happy at the same time. I couldn't tell whether to comfort him or continue pushing the buttons as he continually demanded that I do. Well, without question Jace decided that he wanted to be a skeleton for Halloween and nothing could change his mind. What better way to work through your fears then to become one of them. We found a great costume and he loved it. Our Halloween celebrations began a week earlier at a Halloween Party a cute friend had. Jace got to wear his Skeleton costume for the first time. This picture cracks me up because everyone is so happy and then there is this little creepy skeleton in the middle. I love it.
Then Friday at his school, Jace got to have a huge Halloween Party where he got to wear his shirt he had made there. He came home with so many goodies in a bag he had decorated and a present from his teachers.
Lots of candy.
Here is Jace's favorite babysitter, Emily. He loves her. She was so cute dressed up as Cinderella. There are more pictures to come from the ward party, I had to borrow my friends camera after mine decided to run out of battery.

nice. jace is the best skeleton! can't believe your trunk or treat was that awesome. ours never is like that, but that's ok. trick or treat around the neighborhood is enough for now. :)
Such a cutie - can't wait to see him!
Wow! I don't think you've gone this long in between posts! Jace makes a good skeleton.
I think Kasiana's mom was at our super Saturday and she used to be roommates with my friend Cathy (who is coming with our Twilight group this year). It just dawned on me that I have always seen them on your blog, but when I saw her at the activity last month I was thinking she looked familiar from Cathy's blog. Anyway, Jace looks so cute in his costume - he definitely would have scared my girls :-)!
Oh...scary! I love the costume :). It looks like you guys had a great Halloween. Enjoy the candy ;).
by the way, you have NO belly poking at all from these pics.
Looks like so much fun... Halloween has turned into a multi-day celebration! Will the firefighter come next year? We had a couple really cute little firefighters come to our door this year.
