Jesus Car : Cute Stories

I know, what a strange name for a post. But there is a story that goes along with it. For the past month or so, almost everything that Jace says ends in car. Such as "Mama, Dada, Mama, Car!" or "Annie Gogi Gogi Car" or even his jibberish talk always ends in car, "Sheesh e to ma CAR". My all time favorite is last week when we were putting him to bed I asked him who was in the picture on the wall and he said, "Jesu.....Car".

To go along with the story, he has also started turning everything he plays with into cars, including his food. This morning he had a bigger chunk of banana on his plate and when I looked over he was driving the banana car around saying "vroom vroom". Then tonight at dinner I gave him a piece of turkey bacon to see if he'd eat it. He started gnawing on it and took a few bites, then was just staring at it. After a second, he looked closely and said, "Car". In fact, it did kind of look like a car and he started driving that around his tray too.
When he was finished with dinner he looked at me and said, "Tired", then layed his head down on his tray. I said "Oh are you tired, do you want to lay on mommy's shoulder?" So I picked him up and he layed there for a minute saying, "Tired." It's been a long day for both of us. Tonight he layed down on Annie's doggy bed saying, "Tired, Tired."

The final story of the day was when we were at the doctors office. Starting last weekend Jace wasn't feeling well and today I haven't been feeling great either so we went to the doctor this afternoon. Jace did awesome while they examined him which was very abnormal, usually he freaks out a bit. After they looked at his ears, he looked and me and signed, "All Done" in kind of a questioning tone. It was so cute. He was trying to be patient. I told him we were in fact almost done.

Boys are so cute...it as if they know what cars and trucks are without us even telling them! Noah is the same way...he uses the word "truck" in almost every sentence! Too funny!
