I love Valentine's Day. I love being in Love and celebrating it. Jace wanted to make Daddy a Valentine today so this is a picture of him coloring it. He especially liked the taste of the crayons more than he liked decorating his card. We went to JJ's work to surprise him. I knocked on his office door then put Jace down in front of the door holding his Valentine. When J opened the door, the cutest surprise in the whole world was standing there. His entire office is in love with him and were glad to see him again.
Jace wanted to give mommy a present for Valentine's Day too. I didn't expect it at all, it was a true surprise. The first part of his surprise was sleeping in until almost 9 o'clock...a first for him. Then he went down for his nap at 11:00 without a single fuss or peep. I expected a short nap, especially since he fell asleep sitting up against the bumper, but was fine with it since he slept in. Jace had other things in mind. His second present to mommy was a 3 hour and 15 minute nap. I kept checking on him, and he slowly kept sinking further down to a lying position. It was the best present ever!
Great Grandma Brown sent Jace a Valentine yesterday and when he opened it he had to carry it around for a while. Such a big boy now. He is shirtless because he spilled on his white shirt and I am a fanatic about keeping his clothes as spiffy as possible. I love stain remover and oxyclean.
