Trip to Utah

This is a little late, but I still wanted to post the pictures from our trip to Utah last week. We got there Friday night, and spent the evening with my Dad and Anne. Then Saturday evening we went to JJ's brothers house to spend time with his whole family. His brother's wife just had a baby a few days before so we were able to love on her for a while. Little Madeline is such a sweet little baby. It just so happened that J's Dad Ken was in town that weekend too so here is a picture of him with all the grand kids on that side. (Mitchell, Marshall, Madeline, Isabel, and Jace).

Sunday night we were back at my Dad's (which is where J and I stayed this trip) for a belated Birthday celebration with my family. My sister Lara made the beautiful cake from scratch. Thanks Loo.
Jace loved my brother Dan. He would have played with him and his boys for hours longer had we not put him to bed. Thanks Michelle for entertaining Jace with your bracelets.

It snowed a bunch while we were there. Jace has seen snow before but didn't remember. He was so amazed at how white everything was. He stared out the window the whole car ride that morning.

Monday Night was girls night. All my Sisters got together and played the Wii all night. We of course ate and chatted too. Here is Jessica, My cute momma, Andrea, Sarah, Me, Em, and Beka. Watching Sarah and Jess play boxing was hilarious. Love your new haircut Sarah.

Tuesday night we spent with J's family. Our neice Isabel loved being Jace's second mommy that night. She helped feed him, gave him drinks, and even washed him in the bath.

Wednesday I was at my mom's all day like every other day, and she was watching my nieces and nephews. Jace loved playing with Josh and Kaitlyn. Here is couldn't handle that Katie still had her candy and he had already finished his so she went over and pulled hers out of her mouth. She was very sweet and just gave it to him.

Wednesday night we went to dinner with my mom and Russ for our Birthday and then went up to visit some friends in Kaysville. On the way home at 11:00 at night (yet again Jace was a dream the entire time), we got a flat tire. Here is a picture of Jace and I in the car while we waiting for Daddy to finish fixing the tire.

This is Great Grandma Brown. Jace would got straight to her room when we went over to my mom's house. He would draw with her and play with her crayons. Thanks Grandma for entertaining him so much. It was hard to pull him away from her room so she could get anything else done.

It was a great trip despite the fact that we were all sick the entire trip with Sinus Infections, and are still dealing with the residues if Jace's. Hopefully this two week ordeal will soon be over. Thanks Dad and Anne for bringing us to Utah for my Birthday and for taking such good care of us.
