We got back in town Friday with plans to go to the
Kenney Chesney concert Saturday. My friend Ashely had scored some tickets. I was so excited, it had been forever since I had been to a concert.
Kenney didn't come on stage till almost 9:00 which was good for us because we had a crazy time getting to Reliant Stadium.

We also went with Ashley's twin sister Alex (I've seen pictures but was shocked at how much they looked alike in person) and Alex's sister-in-law Christina who just moved into the Memorial Park Ward, my first ward here in Houston.

I stole all the people pictures from Alex. I thought this one with Ashley and
Kenney was great.
Kenney sang awesome except for the few times he actually forgot the words. Priceless! I love country music!

One of my favorite parts was when Keith Urban and Kenny were on stage together. Keith was an opening act and
Kenney invited him back to perform a few more songs. I loved it!

The not so great part of the weekend was Jace coming home sick AGAIN from our trip to Utah. We are on a roll. We've been to Utah about 4 or 5 times since Jace was born and I think we've come back from all of the trips with a sick child. Yucky cough and cold.

Due to our pediatrician being out of town and then me being out of town, just yesterday we made it to
Jace's 18 Month Well Check/Sick appointment. Since it was "just a cold" he still got two shots which should be the last of his immunization until he is 4. He does have a TB Test every year though. Here are his stats:
Height 34 inches 75-90%percentile
Weight 28 pounds 2 oz 75%percentile
I love our pediatrician so much. He gives such good advice and is so good with Jace. Jace did so well this time. He was a little scared of the first nurse when she measured his head and height but did really well other than that. When he got his shots at the end he cried for a second and then I told him we were All Done and he stopped. He told the nurse Thank You as we were leaving and she felt so bad for hurting him. Dr. Bishop said he is doing fantastic and speaking very well. He said he is definitely not worried about his weight and growth, he's a big kid. He even got a "Melmo" Elmo sticker at the end.

So fun! Thanks again for coming to the show. It was fun to dance along side you to some great country music!
Poor Jace! I hope he is feeling better. Ella and Addie both said/say "Melmo" too :-).
